PM Narendra Modi will be on his third tour to South India this year later this week. It will be a three-day tour. He will first travel to Solapur in Maharashtra on January 19 for a function. On January 20, he will be in Bengaluru for a Boeing India function
With another three-day tour to South India coming up later this week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would have spent one week out of the first three weeks of 2024 in the South. This is a major push by the PM in South India ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The PM will be on his third tour to South India this year later this week. This will be a three-day tour. He will first travel to Solapur in Maharashtra on January 19 for a public function. From there on January 20, he will be in Bengaluru for a Boeing India function.
On January 20 evening, he will be in Chennai for Khelo India Youth Games.

On January 21, the PM will also be in Chennai and so far is scheduled to return to Delhi at 4 pm from Chennai.
On January 22, Modi is scheduled to be in Ayodhya.
The PM was in Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep and Kerala on January 2-3 earlier this year. On January 16-17, the PM went on a two-day tour to Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. He also visited Maharashtra last week for inaugurating mega infrastructure projects. During these trips, PM Modi has also gone to various temples associated with Lord Ram and the Ramayana in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
