- Today, those who brave and courageous and hardworking are working to take the nation forward – Be it our soldiers, our farmers, our youth. I salute them all.
- In recent times, due to some calamities, many people have lost their lives. I want to assure their families that in this hour of grief and difficulty, the nation stands with them at every step.
- Country indebted to freedom fighters, it is a day to remember their sacrifices.
- 40 crore Indians had come together in the early part of the 20th century and threw out the most oppressive nation from their rule over us. They were 40 crore – today we are 140 crore.
- If 40 crore could achieve the daunting task back in the day, then today, 140 crore can ensure that the nation surges ahead. Many in those 40 crore gave up their lives to achieve the goal of freedom and independence, today 140 crore have to live for the nation and take it forward.
- So many of you have come forward and shared your ideas on how we can ensure a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047, when India celebrates completion of 100 years of Independence.
- Many of you suggested how skill development should be prioritised, so many suggested ways how India can become a manufacturing hub to ensure development.
- Several suggestions came about taking our traditional forms of medication and healthcare like Ayurveda to the world. Lots of suggestions came that the judicial processes needs significant reforms.
