A poultry truck overturned after hitting a guard railing near Anandapura in Karnataka’s Sagar taluk on Wednesday, after which, local people gathered to collect the chickens that died in the incident. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident.
The truck carrying the chickens was coming from Kadur in Chikkamagaluru district.
A number of people assembled at the spot, with a few reportedly even bringing bags to carry the dead birds with them..
