A constable, attached to CID of Pune police, died after his scooter was hit by an unidentified vehicle near PK Chowk at Pimple Saudagar on Sunday night. Sachin Mane, 46, was returning home after visiting his father, who was undergoing treatment in a hospital, when the accident occurred, senior inspector at Sangvi police station, Mahesh Bansode, told TOI.”We have registered a case against the unknown vehicle driver,” he said.
