Actor R Madhavan expressed his joy and admiration for NASA astronaut Sunita Williams as she safely returned to Earth after spending over nine months in space. Taking to Instagram, Madhavan shared a heartfelt message celebrating her safe landing and acknowledging the efforts of NASA and SpaceX.

“Welcome back to Earth our Dear Sunita Williams. Our prayers have been answered… so wonderful to see you safe and smiling. After more than 260 uncertain days in space, this is all God’s grace and millions of praying souls’ prayers being answered… Great Job all at #spacexfalcon9 #NASA and the entire crew. God bless you,” Madhavan wrote.
Williams, a veteran astronaut of Indian origin, returned aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9, marking another milestone in space exploration. Her mission, filled with challenges and uncertainties, saw her contribute significantly to ongoing research and technological advancements aboard the International Space Station.
On the work front, Madhavan continues to balance his acting and filmmaking ventures. He was last seen in Shaitaan, co-starring Ajay Devgn and Jyotika, which performed well at the box office. The actor is also gearing up for The Railway Men, a series based on the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, where he shares screen space with Kay Kay Menon, Babil Khan, and Divyenndu. Additionally, he is directing Rocketry 2, the sequel to his acclaimed biopic on scientist Nambi Narayanan.
