BHUBANESWAR: Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari said the Odisha government will resolve various issues related to land acquisition for railway projects in the state. He stated this after meeting Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi on Friday.
Pujari mentioned that land acquisition was a major problem for different railway projects during the previous government.”In view of this, we will have a meeting with the officials of the Railways, Forest Department, and Revenue Department to review all ongoing or pending projects in the state,” he added.
He emphasized completing the work of different departments within the given deadline. “We will ensure that no railway project sanctioned for our state will face problems due to delays in the land acquisition process,” he added.
Vaishnaw said funding for railway projects will not be an issue for Odisha.
