NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that he is fortunate to have been invited for the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 19. Last week, he started a special 11-day fast to prepare himself for the pran pratishtha (consecration ceremony) of the Ram Temple on January 22.
“After a few days, on January 22, Lord Ram will give us darshan in his grand temple and I am fortunate that I have been invited for the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya.I have also started a special anushthan ahead of ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony … Lord Ram is not possible without Mata Shabri,” PM Modi said.
He was addressing the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) under Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) via video conferencing. The Prime Minister released the first instalment of Rs 540 crore to 1 lakh beneficiaries of a rural housing scheme under PM-JANMAN.
PM Modi will preside over the mandir opening and the ‘pran patishtha’ ceremony on January 22 in the temple town.
