Now, Rashmika has shared the exciting news of being appointed as the National Ambassador for promoting cyber safety by the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Rashmika announced on Instagram that she aims to raise awareness about cybercrime threats, including online fraud, deepfake videos, cyberbullying, and AI-generated content. Her post has sparked discussions on tech misuse, with several celebrities voicing their concerns.
In her statement, Rashmika said, “Cybercrime is a dangerous and pervasive threat that affects individuals, businesses, and communities worldwide. As someone who has experienced this, I am dedicated to raising awareness about these issues and promoting the message of cyber safety to drive positive change. It is crucial that we come together to combat these threats and protect our digital spaces.”
Rashmika’s morphed video went viral in November last year. Recently, another deep fake video of the ‘Pushpa’ star surfaced online, showing a woman with Rashmika’s face entering a lift, dressed in a fitted outfit. The clip quickly spread across social media, but some users clarified that it was a deepfake.

Rashmika Mandanna is gearing up for the release of ‘Pushpa: The Rule‘, starring Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. Directed by Sukumar, the film will hit theaters on December 6.
