South Central Railway General Manager Arun Kumar Jain on Monday launched ‘SCR ANIMISHA’ Vigilance App.
The app is a knowledge portal that features information related to Railway Board vigilance circulars, manuals, system improvements, discipline & appeal conduct rules, Prevention of Corruption Act etc.
The app also shows the latest information related to the vigilance department, like vacancy notifications, bulletin, achievements, etc.
Later, Mr. Jain gave away ‘employee of month’ awards to nine railway personnel who include loco pilots, track maintainers, technicians, points men and others.
While three each are from Hyderabad and Guntakal divisions, two are from Vijayawada division, and one from Secunderabad division.
Mr. Jain also held a detailed review on safety of train operations with the respective divisional managers on the crew working hours and called for proper rest to be given to them. The details on stock position of safety too was discussed, said a press release.
