Following the incident, fans took to social media to defend his decision not to greet them from his balcony on his birthday, a ritual that has become iconic over the years.

According to reports, the Bandra Police Station in Mumbai received a call from an unidentified person threatening Shah Rukh Khan and demanding a sum of Rs 50 lakh. The call, which allegedly originated from Chhattisgarh, quickly gained media attention, stirring apprehension among fans and the public alike. Given the recent threat, security around Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, Mannat, has been tightened, preventing the usual crowds from gathering on November 2, the actor’s birthday.
Fans Rally in Support of Shah Rukh Khan’s Safety
Each year, thousands of Shah Rukh Khan’s fans gather outside his house on his birthday, eagerly awaiting his appearance. This year, however, the usual celebrations took a cautious turn. With the threat looming, Shah Rukh chose not to make his customary balcony appearance, prioritizing safety.
Many of Shah Rukh’s fans expressed their understanding and concern on social media. One fan wrote, “Now it’s striking to SRKians that it was probably the best decision from SRK that he didn’t come out on his balcony on his birthday. Nothing is more important to us than his safety. Stay safe and take care @iamsrk.”
Another user applauded Shah Rukh’s decision, stating, “LOL sahi kiya that SRK skipped coming to the balcony this year. He won’t prioritize his life more than fans. Some of y’all need to be real.”
Having said that, it is worth noting here that Shah Rukh has not reacted to the death threat news, as of now.
