The much-talked about Deva that marks the return of Shahid Kapoor in theatres after the successful Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has garnered ample attention among the fans of the actor. The Kapoor boy will be donning an action-packed avatar for this massy entertainer and will be seen in the role of a cop. Recently, while shooting for a song-dance sequence of the film, a video of the same seems to have been captured by a bystander and the same has found its way on social media.

Not surprisingly, the video has definitely sparked excitement among fans who were curious to catch a glimpse of the commercial avatar of Shahid Kapoor from the film. In the clip, Shahid is seen sitting atop a bike, in front of a massive wall mural of Amitabh Bachchan’s character from the film Deewar. The actor is seen sporting an extremely short hairdo that reminds you of his look from Haider along with Khakee pants, owing to his role as a cop and is seen smoking and dancing to the tunes of a baarat nearby which seems to be a part of the film’s sequence too.
Although not much has been revealed, if the video is any indication, then fans can definitely expect to see Shahid shaking a leg to a peppy number in the film. Reacting to the video, the social media user said, “These #Deva leaks are getting me pumped up #ShahidKapoor Absolute MASS”. Another fan expressed excitement adding, “Can’t wait to see”.

Directed by Rosshan Andrews, the film brings together Shahid Kapoor with Pooja Hegde as the leading lady for the first time. Also starring Pavail Gulati and Kubbra Sait in key roles, the film is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner Roy Kapur Films in association with Zee Studios. The film is slated for release on February 14, 2025.
