JIND: An elder brother killed his younger brother over a dispute about a bike. The police have registered a case and begun investigation into the matter.
The deceased has been identified as Sahil (19).
According to sources, Sahil was asking for bike to go somewhere but his brother refused. Later both landed in arguments over this issue which led to one’s killing.
In a complaint filed with the Uchana Kalan police, Raja, a resident of Ghoghriyan village, stated that on Monday evening, he was sitting at home when his nephew Vikram and his younger brother Sahil started arguing over a bike. “I intervened and separated the two, but Vikram later returned and attacked Sahil, stabbing him in the chest with a knife. Sahil was rushed to the civil hospital in Uchana, where he was declared dead,” he added.
After the incident, the accused fled from the spot leaving his brother critically injured.
DSP Navin Sandhu said that the police have registered a case against Vikram and launched a probe. The post-mortem examination of Sahil’s body is being conducted at the civil hospital in Narwana and action would be taken accordingly. The accused would be nabbed soon, he said.
