NEW DELHI: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SCP) supremo Sharad Pawar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President and Rajya Sabha chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday.
Accompanied by the farmers, Pawar presented pomegranates to both leaders, highlighting farmers‘ concerns and the challenges in pomegranate cultivation.
Sharad Pawar pointed out that the discussion focused solely on the issues affecting farmers, particularly the difficulties faced by pomegranate cultivators.
NCP (SCP) chief also clarified that no political matters were discussed in his interaction with PM Modi.
