“The love that y’all have given Viraaj has been too special,” she wrote. “From recreating the dance steps on the song to making reels on the dialogues to dressing up like Viraaj… I just want to say thank you for this love!” Sharvari concluded the message with a playful request to fans, saying, “Aap sabhi ne mujhe itnaaaaa saara pyaar diya, aaj mera pyaar accept karenge? Bolo #HaanKeHaan? Kyunki ‘Naa’ ka toh option hi nahi hai (you guys showered me with love… will you accept my love for you today. Yes or Yes. There is no option for a no).”

In her post, Sharvari also thanked the entire team behind the film including Aditya Chopra, Vaibhavi Merchant, Jaideep Ahlawat, Junaid Khan, and director Siddharth P. Malhotra, along with the crew, for shaping what has now become a special milestone in her career.

Released on 21 June 2024, after facing a brief legal hurdle, Maharaj marked the acting debut of Junaid Khan. Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and produced under YRF Entertainment, the period drama starred Junaid Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari, and Shalini Pandey. The film is based on the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862, one of India’s earliest and most significant cases involving freedom of the press and religious reform.

Maharaj was initially scheduled to release on 14 June 2024, but its release was stayed by the Gujarat High Court following a petition by a Hindu group claiming it might incite religious tensions. After reviewing the content, the court lifted the stay, and the film began streaming on Netflix a week later.

Sharvari’s performance as Viraaj, a spirited and progressive character in a historical setting, garnered widespread attention. Fans took to social media creating reels, quoting her dialogues, and replicating her look from the film, turning “Haan ke haan” into a fan-favorite catchphrase.
