Saurashtra’s Sheldon Jackson announced his retirement from white-ball cricket on Tuesday.
Jackson concluded his List A career with 2,792 runs from 84 innings at an average of 36.25. The wicketkeeper-batter recorded nine centuries and 14 fifties in the 50-over format.
The 38-year-old also amassed 1,812 runs from 80 T20 matches, including nine games for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL.
Jackson’s last white-ball match was a Vijay Hazare Trophy fixture for Saurashtra against Punjab, where he scored 13 runs off 10 balls.
In 2022, Jackson scored an unbeaten 133 off 136 balls to lead Saurashtra to victory in the Vijay Hazare Trophy final against Maharashtra.
