Siddhant Chaturvedi is all set to redefine his on-screen persona with his upcoming action-packed film, Yudhra. Known for his versatile roles, Siddhant has received countless suggestions from fans to explore the action genre, since his breakout role as MC Sher in Gully Boy, and Yudhra marks the fulfilment of this long-awaited desire.

“One common advice would be – you should do something like action, because of I think the first impression as MC Sher, that was like you should do something really tough that is a thing, constant thing which I think I keep getting. Let’s see now, there’s an action film coming out so I did act upon that. I didn’t want to be typecast at the start of my career, so I took some time to explore different kind of genres. Even though everybody is like ‘do these [MC Sher] type of roles that are alpha-like,” shared Siddhant in a recent interview with Filmfare
He also mentioned, “It’s a big one now which is coming next, so working on that for the last 5 years.”
Produced by Excel Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar and directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film has a story and screenplay from Farhan Akhtar & Shridhar Raghavan. It was announced in February 2021.
