Sona Ali Khan shared a photo on her Instagram handle, capturing everyone posing together. Captioning it, she wrote, “In the land of the rising sun ????????.” A fan commented, “Beautiful family,” while many others filled the comment section with heart emojis. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan, who has been discharged from the hospital, is currently on bed rest. The actor was spotted thanking paparazzi and waving at them upon arriving home.
A few days after Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Bandra home, Mumbai Police sources revealed that his statement was recorded late Thursday night. Saif provided a detailed account of the incident to the police at his residence, describing the entire sequence of events leading to the stabbing.
Saif Ali Khan told the police that he initially managed to hold the attacker tightly but lost his grip after being stabbed multiple times. “I held the assailant tight, but after he stabbed me again and again in my back, my grip loosened,” Saif explained. He further added, “Seeing all this, my family as well as the staff working in the house were scared.”
On the night of the attack, Saif Ali Khan rushed out after hearing his younger son Jeh’s cries. According to Mumbai Police sources, Saif saw the assailant attacking Jeh’s staff nurse, Eliam Philip, and immediately jumped on the attacker, managing to hold him.
Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times in the early hours of January 16 at his Bandra residence. The police later arrested Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, also known as Vijay Das, a 30-year-old Bangladeshi national residing illegally in India, for the attack. According to officials, the accused will be presented in court on Friday to request an extension of his police remand. He had initially been placed in five-day police custody on Sunday.
