On June 23, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal made it official by tying the knot in a simple registered wedding ceremony in Mumbai. However, in the evening, the couple decided to celebrate this moment in a lavish way with their friends, family, and the film fraternity. Unlike other celebrities, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal hosted an informal night of dance, music, food, and fun where they not only grooved to the beats of live Dhol but also to some of the biggest Bollywood chartbusters. Along with that, they also held a cake ceremony to commemorate the occasion. The three-tier cake had pink and red floral design along with the initials of the actor, ‘S’ and ‘Z’ engraved on it in gold. Before the cake cutting ceremony, the couple were seen doing a romantic dance on ‘Tere Mast Mast Do Nain’ from Sonakshi’s 2010 debut film Dabangg.
It seems that Sonakshi who was seen sporting a traditional saree at her reception later changed into a red Anarkali which had extensive green embroidery and mirror work on it. Another video featured the couple fondly feeding cake to each other.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal also performed on ‘Chikni Kamar’
The song ‘Chikni Kamar’ was also originally featured on Sonakshi Sinha along with Akshay Kumar as her co-star. The popular dance track, from the 2012 action entertainer Rowdy Rathore, was sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Wajid Khan with music composed by Sajid-Wajid.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal hosted a grand reception on Sunday at Bastian in Mumbai, which was attended by several celebrities from the Hindi film industry including Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Aditi Rao Hydari and her fiancé Siddharth, among many others.
