The Railway Board has decided to extend special trains between Mysuru and Danapur stations for two trips in each direction to manage the extra rush of passengers during Holi, a release said.
Accordingly, Train No. 06207 Mysuru-Danapur Express Special will depart from Mysuru at 4.30 p.m. March 8 and 15 (Saturdays) and reach Danapur at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Train No. 06208 Danapur-Mysuru Express Special will depart from Danapur at 1.45 a.m. on March 12 and 19 (Wednesdays) and arrive at Mysuru at 3 p.m. on Friday.
En route, the trains will have stoppages at the following stations in both directions: Mandya, Maddur, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Chikjajur, Chitradurg, Rayadurg, Ballari Cantt., Hosapete, Koppal, Gadag, SSS Hubballi, Badami, Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Solapur, Kurduwadi, Daund, Ahmadnagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Talvadya, Chhanera, Khirkiya, Harda, Banapura, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Chunar, PT. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar and Ara.
The train will have 22 LHB coaches, consisting of 10AC-three ter coaches, 6 second class sleeper coaches, 4 general second class coaches and 2 luggage-cum-guard coaches, the release said.
