Benny Dayal performing live the cultural fest
Delhi’s pop band Space Chimps and DJ Shaan gave impressive performances at the fest. Bollywood singer Benny Dayal gave a live performance with his group. He presented a wonderful mash up of many Bollywood songs and made the students dance. Despite the tiredness of the day’s sports competitions, the students looked very excited at the celebrity nights. On day two, Amit Trivedi won the hearts of the students by presenting his hit numbers. He presented many songs like ‘Nayan Tarse’, ‘Mujhe Chhod Do Mere Haal Pe’, ‘Naina Da Kya Kasoor’, ‘Jai Ambe Maa’, ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Gulabo’. Yougami Youth Fest was the highlight of the final day of ‘Lakshya’ which culminated with an open concert by hip-hop artist Paradox. About 7000 people including students of the University gathered in it. Young artist Paradox entertained the audience by presenting several raps including ‘Rihaayi’, ‘Jaadugar’, ‘NCR Wale’ and ‘Babam Bam’ in his signature style. The audience also enjoyed the performances by Jagirdar, DJ Ishh, DJ TrapperX, Vibhor and DJ Thrassher.

In the Influencers Walk organized at Yougami Youth Fest, students got a chance to meet renowned social media influencers. In the sports category of ‘Lakshya’ Fest, sports spirit was seen in the matches of football, three Leg Race, kho-kho, chess, shot put, yoga star, arm wrestling, basketball, etc. COD Mobile and Rocket League competitions were held in the e-sports category. In the Knowledge and Fun segment, students’ knowledge was rigorously tested in activities like Think Out of the Box, Poornima Premier League, Minefield, Tech Hunt, Kaun Banega Mind Master Quiz, Face Painting and Web Expose.
