Bi Bi Safiya of Al Sharay PU College brought laurels to the institution through her outstanding performance in the PU examinations by securing 592 marks (98.67%) out of 600.
Ms. Safiya scored centum in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Ayesha Iram secured 584 marks (97.33%). She secured centums in Chemistry and Mathematics.
As many as seven students achieved above 95%, 20 students secured above 90% and 78 students scored more than 85%.
While a student from Sharanabasaveshwar Residential Composite PU College Shivani Jagannath emerged the college topper by scoring 588 marks out of 600 (98%), Korein Fatima Maroof scored 587 marks (97.83%), Soumyashree Nagalot 586 (97.66%) and Navami Palled secured 585 (97.50%).
Centums
As many as 49 students of SBR PU College secured centums in various subjects, with 22 students getting it in Biology, 11 in Mathematics, 10 in Kannada language, four in Physics and two in Chemistry. And, 234 students scored above 90%.
A student of Shree Guru College Harshita scored 586 marks, followed by Hameed with 585 marks. A student of Syed Barey PU College Afia Tanzeen secured 586 marks.
