NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad unleashed a barrage of power-hitting to shatter records and leave fans in awe during their Indian Premier League clash against Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Led by the explosive performances of Heinrich Klaasen (80 not out off 34), Abhishek Sharma (63 off 23), and Travis Head (62 off 24), SRH amassed a staggering total of 277/3 in their allotted 20 overs. This incredible feat saw them break the 11-year-old record for the highest-ever team total in an IPL innings, previously held by Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 263/5 in 20 overs against now-defunct Pune Warriors India in 2013.
