WWE Survivor Series brought us two action-packed WarGames matches featuring Roman Reigns and CM Punk in the men’s match and Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan in the women’s match. Apart from this, LA Knight put his United States Championship on the line, and Bron Breakker and Gunther followed suit.
This was a night filled with action of the highest order and gave us some amazing moments that will be discussed for years to come. Today, we’ll look at the top five moments from Survivor Series WarGames 2024.
CM Punk to IYO SKY: Top 5 Jaw-Dropping Scenes from Survivor Series
1) CM Punk Shakes Hands With Roman Reigns
There was a lot of tension between Roman Reigns and CM Punk during the Men’s WarGames match tonight. Fans were very skeptical about Punk’s addition to Reigns’ team for Survivor Series. Many speculated that this is a move that sows the seeds for an upcoming feud between Roman and The Best in the World.
However, after Roman and Punk, accompanied by The Usos and Sami Zayn, defeated Solo Sikoa and Bloodline 2.0, the two shared a heartwarming moment. Punk and Reigns were seen shaking hands after their hard-fought battle in what was truly one of the coolest moments from tonight.
2) Solo Sikoa Gets What’s Coming to Him
For the longest time, Solo Sikoa has been the most hated and polarizing figure in WWE. He has been going after the biggest stars and often plays dirty to get what he wants. Well, tonight, Solo finally got what he deserved, and honestly, it was long overdue. Near the end of the Men’s WarGames match, all the members of Roman’s team hit Sikoa with their finishing move.
That comes out to be two Superkicks, one from each Uso, one Helluva kick from Sami Zayn, a GTS from CM Punk, and a Spear from Roman Reigns. After eating five finishers in a row, Sikoa was then pinned by Roman in what was a full-circle moment for the OG Bloodline.
3) Tiffany Stratton and IYO SKY Fly High
Tiffany Stratton and IYO SKY gave us a generational spot during the Women’s WarGames match today. Both superstars climbed up to the top of the cage and landed a splash that took out both teams. While Stratton’s splash was more of a standard attack, IYO SKY went the extra mile.
She put a bin over her head and then proceeded to backflip onto the enemy team and take them all out in the process. The loud pop from the crowd and the subsequent “this is awesome” chants tell us that this was one of the best moments of tonight.
4) Gunther Goes After Finn Balor
The Ring General would’ve preferred a clean win over Damian Priest tonight. But he was robbed of that opportunity by Judgement Day member Finn Balor. Balor showed up and attacked Damian Priest much like he did at SummerSlam 2024. However, this time around Gunther wouldn’t have any of it and went on to kick Balor in the face before continuing his fight with Priest.
The simple fact that Gunther attacked Balor even though he was helping him shows that The Ring General is a man of integrity. This was another heartwarming moment from Survivor Series 2024.
5) Paul Heyman Demands Focus From Roman Reigns and CM Punk
While Reigns and Punk ended the night on a good note and ended up shaking hands after the match, this wasn’t the direction their relationship was heading in earlier. Punk and Reigns were constantly on edge and it seemed like they would start fighting amongst themselves.

However, Paul Heyman, the Wiseman, spotted the tension between Punk and Reigns and headed out to the ring. Heyman asked the two to get along, and the rest is history. Seeing Punk and Roman respect Heyman’s words and put their differences aside was easily one of the highlights from Survivor Series 2024.
