Taapsee Pannu left everyone shocked when she revealed her marriage to long-time boyfriend Mathias Boe in March 2024. However, the actress recently surprised everyone further by disclosing that they actually tied the knot in December 2023, not March this year. She made this revelation during an interaction with Agenda Aaj Tak.

Speaking about her intimate wedding in Udaipur, Taapsee Pannu shared, “People were unaware of my wedding this year as we didn’t make a formal announcement. In fact, we got married last year in December. Our wedding anniversary is coming soon. We simply signed the papers then. If I hadn’t mentioned it today, no one would have known.”
She further explained, “We wanted to maintain a clear distinction between our personal and professional lives. I’ve observed that excessive exposure of personal life in professional life can negatively impact both spheres. The successes and failures of one’s career often spill over into personal life, causing unnecessary stress. I’ve always strived to maintain a balance between the two.”
The actor and former Olympic medallist tied the knot on March 23 in an intimate ceremony attended by their families and closest friends. A source shared, “The wedding took place in Udaipur and was an extremely intimate affair. The pre-wedding festivities kick-started on March 20. The couple was very sure that they didn’t want any media attention on their big day. Both of them are known to be very private and reserved people and they wouldn’t have had it any other way.”
Taapsee Pannu and Danish badminton coach Mathias Boe first met at the inaugural Indian Badminton League in 2013. Their connection grew over time, and soon their families were introduced. While Taapsee kept her love life private, she once revealed in an interview that they started communicating on X (formerly Twitter) before meeting in person. A recent report confirmed that after over a decade of dating, they are set to marry in March.
On the work front, Taapsee was seen this year in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba and Khel Khel Mein.
