HYDERABAD: Parts of Telangana are expected to see a rise in temperature by 2-3°C in the next three days, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD). A heat wave alert has also been issued for Friday and Saturday. The areas where heat conditions have been prevalent are south eastern districts such as Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam, Nagarkunool, Bhadradri, Mahabubnagar among others.
Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds up to 30-40 kmph speed are also expected on April 7 and 8 in Adilabad, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Sircilla and Kamareddy.According to Telangana State Development Planning Society, all 33 districts recorded temperatures above 40°C. In GHMC limits, Karwan recorded highest at 42°C. TNN
