The Great Indian Kapil Show is all set to return to Netflix and not too long ago, Jr NTR was snapped on the sets of the comedy sketch-chat show. While the show was launched amid much fanfare earlier this year and featured a host of Bollywood celebrities, the trend is expected to continue for its second season and on the list are some of the biggest celebs from not just Indian Cinema but also from the field of cricket. The new promo of the second season was unveiled on September 14 on social media featuring a host of celebrities from Alia Bhatt to Jr NTR.

Netflix took to Instagram to share the promo of the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show, asserting that the entire cast including Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur will return to entertain their guests and audiences with their hilarious sketches along with Kapil Sharma as the host. Meanwhile, the promo also teased audiences by sharing glimpses of what the new season has in store for them. The second season will see Jr NTR for the first time who will be coming with Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan as part of the promotions of their film Devara: Part 1. The other guests include Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina who will promoting their film Jigra, some members of Indian Cricket Team including captain Rohit Sharma, among others.
Talking about the upcoming season, Kapil Sharma says, “As promised, we didn’t take too long and palak jhapakte hi hum doosre season ke saath laut aaye hai on Netflix (we are back with Season 2 in the blink of an eye). We are all very thankful for the love that we received for Season 1 of The Great Indian Kapil Show from across the globe. Our audiences have always treated us as a part of their family and we are grateful. This time around, you will see us in different avatars, upping our antics in every episode — we couldn’t do much with Archanaji though… so don’t keep your hopes too high. Season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show is nothing but a celebration of who we are, our culture and our people. We are celebrating you, our beloved audience.”

Along with the promo, the makers also revealed that the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show will premiere from September 21 onwards with every episodes dropping on Saturday at 8 PM.
