Two boys from a family that had come to the annual Yallamma fair drowned in the Malaprabha river in Saundatti in Belagavi district of Karnataka on January 23.
Viresh Kattimani (13) and Sachin Kattimani (14) of Gadag district drowned in the river when they went to see the Navilu Teertha dam.
The teenagers went for a bath, and slipped in the river.
Police could recover one body and are searching for the other.
Saundatti police reached the spot and registered a case.
