Two men on a motorcycle were killed on the spot on the outskirts of Mudgal town in Lingsugur taluk of Raichur district on Thursday after a lorry rammed the two-wheeler they were travelling on, according to the police.
The deceased have been identified as 30-year-old Kanakappa of Umalutti village and 35-year-old Jagadish of Vithalapur village.
Both vehicles were heading on the same direction. And, the lorry rammed the motorcycle when the rider slowed it down to go over a speed breaker, a police officer said.
A case has been registered in the Mudgal Police Station.
