MUMBAI: Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday slammed the Shinde-Fadnavis government and said that even a crab was better than this triad government. Uddhav was speaking at a protest by Aganwadi workers at Azad Maidan to press for their demands with the state government. Referring to the Anganwadi workers, Uddhav said that when numerous flames come together a torch is lit and this torch can burn down anyone’s power.
“When the Corona crisis averted, when I started working, I had an operation.As soon as I got out of that, these traitors pulled down our government. But if the government had not been overthrown, you wouldn’t have had to protest now. Those who do not understand your strength, your service are ungrateful. We are seeing advertisements during their time. Pictures of crony ministers and posters of strong India, but I say crony ministers do not mean strong India. The Health Minister will be healthy by eating crabs. But Anganwadi workers are working to strengthen the real India. But the government is not aware of this,” Uddhav said.
“They have money to spend on advertising.There are khoke (moneybags) to buy the government. But the government has no money to pay the Anganwadi and Asha sevaks? Now someone said that they don’t want to vote for BJP this time. Do vote if you think it’s right. Ram Mandir was inaugurated on 22 January. BJP won the elections in Madhya Pradesh. Everyone thought that BJP would lose in Madhya Pradesh but they won. But the Ladli Bahena scheme benefited the BJP. So these are our beloved sisters, right? If there are devotees of Ram then what about them? If the (MVA) government had not gone, all the problems you have would not have arisen. This government is more crooked than any government so far,” Uddhav said.
