Umang 2023 – an initiative by the Mumbai Police Welfare Fund, is all set to captivate audiences with a night filled with glamour, laughter and unparalleled entertainment. Featuring Bollywood’s finest stars, this grand event will be telecast on January 27, at 9:30 PM, only on Sony Entertainment Television. Hosted by the dynamic duo – Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Umang 2023 was graced by the who’s who of Bollywood, with your favourite stars illuminating the stage, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Bobby Deol, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon, among many other notable luminaries.

Recently the channel dropped a special promo of the show where audiences were given a glimpse into the journey by showcasing what new this function has in store for them this year. It seems that the show will feature the new-age Bade Miyan Chote Miyan aka Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff making a grand entry together where they will be showcasing their action moves, which also seems to be a focus point in their upcoming entertainer which is slated for release during Eid. Apart from that, both Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will be seen performing on stage. We hear that while Salman will be grooving to the all-time favourites ‘Hud Hud Dabang’ and ‘Mera Hi Jalwa’ on stage, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen saying some dialogues from his recent blockbusters along with dancing on ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ and ‘Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya’.
Audiences can also expect ‘dhamekedaar’ performances from Shahid Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Riteish & Genelia Deshmukh as well. Director Rohit Shetty will be seen hailing the Mumbai Police as ‘Super Heroes’ which doesn’t come as a surprise since the filmmaker is creating a franchise to celebrate the work of these officials in the form of cop universe.
