Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Monday called upon every citizen of the country to contribute their best towards taking the nation forward. Speaking to the media after offering prayers at the temple of Lord Venkateswara, Mr. Goyal emphasised the importance of collective effort in developing the nation as a universal Guru and universal Shakti.
Mr. Goyal, who said he was a frequent visitor to the temple, considered this visit particularly special as it coincided with his birthday and added that he had prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the country.
TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu and Additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary escorted him in the darshan.
