Vardhan Puri, the grandson of late legendary actor Amrish Puri, who is preparing to premiere his film Bloody Ishq, starring Avika Gor, has talked up about nepotism and his cherished recollections of learning from Amrish.

Vardhaan told The Free Press Journal that most of his recollections with his grandfather included viewing excellent cinema, cartoons, and Charlie Chaplin flicks, as well as eating a lot of food together.
His favourite memory of his grandparents was lying next to him every night, and he especially missed the cuddles and snuggles when his grandfather was in town.
The actor expressed pleasure in his grandfather’s heritage, mentioning that he had appeared in over 500 films and was a versatile performer. He stated that, while he is proud of his grandfather and considers him his God, he is working to forge his own path and identity. He likewise aims to work in several genres and give his all, hoping to acquire a similar level of variety as he grows.
When asked about his thoughts on nepotism, the actor recognised that it exists in every industry, noting that it may assist someone get in faster than others. However, he emphasised that staying within the door is dependent on one’s ability. He compared it to a player on a pitch with varying levels, where everything is based on merit. He stated that if someone is truly good, they will always shine.
On the work front, Shyam Kishore and Jeniffer Piccinato play crucial parts in Bloody Ishq. The thriller is planned to release on the OTT platform on July 26, 2024.
