Vadang Raina has so far had one release each on the digital medium and cinemas in the form of The Archies and Jigra respectively. He looks back at his journey and also speaks about his future in an interview with us.

Your most memorable experience in the entertainment industry so far?
My most memorable experience is still probably The Archies premiere. It was my first film and to have a premier of that kind where almost everyone in the industry was present, was so special. I still remember how nervous I was.
How have you accustomed to the changes in your life?
I’m taking one step at a time. I think that after a certain amount of time, you get accustomed to any kind of change anyway. Yes, things are different but I look at it positively.
The Archies or Jigra?
My favourite film of the two is Jigra. I connected very strongly with it as well as my character. I thought Ankur’s character was much closer to me. And also the brother sister bond really resonated.
Still in touch with The Archies team?
Yes, sometimes I’m in touch with them. Everyone’s now busy with their own work as well.
Directors on your wish list?
There are many. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Imtiaz Ali. These are on everyone’s wish list.
Your favourite Hindi film?
I think Baiju Bawra. For as long as I remember, I’ve had a huge poster of Baiju Bawra at home. My father loved the movie and introduced me to it at a young age. I also feel strongly for music in general, so that’s a film I’d love to be a part of. I heard SLB (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) Sir is remaking Baiju Bawra. I’d love to be part of it. Though I still feel like I may have a long way to go before being on an SLB set. It is my one biggest dream nonetheless
