Vikram’s action-packed entertainer ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ has crossed a key milestone at the box office, collecting an estimated Rs 40.70 crore in India net collections by the end of its second week. The film, which opened with solid numbers on March 27, continues to maintain a steady pace despite facing weekday drops.

Steady box office earnings
As per box office tracking website Sacnilk, Veera Dheera Sooran earned around Rs 1 crore on its 14th day, marking a modest but consistent end to its second week. The film had a strong first-week collection of Rs 30.25 crore, driven primarily by Tamil Nadu, where the majority of the collections have come from. The Tamil version alone contributed around Rs 28.8 crore in week one, while the Telugu version added Rs 1.45 crore.

The second week witnessed a predictable slowdown, but weekend figures provided a boost. Day 10 (second Saturday) brought in Rs 2.6 crore, followed by Rs 2.85 crore on Day 11 (second Sunday), indicating that the film still holds decent pull among audiences. From Day 12 to Day 14, the collections gradually tapered off, with Wednesday’s early estimate standing at Rs 1 crore.
Decent occupancy rates
Occupancy-wise, the film saw a 13.16% overall Tamil occupancy on Wednesday, April 9, with night shows showing the best turnout at 15.04%. Despite the dip, these figures reflect a relatively stable run for a film in its second week, particularly in a competitive box office environment.
Directed by S. U. Arun Kumar, Veera Dheera Sooran features Vikram in a rugged, action-driven role that has connected with his fanbase.
As the film steps into its third weekend, all eyes are on whether ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ can maintain momentum and edge closer to the Rs 50 crore mark.
