State Industries Minister TG Bharath told reporters that the Vermeiren Group, spearheading operations at the Sri City integrated business city in Satyavedu, Chittoor district, is set to expand its operations in Andhra Pradesh by investing Rs. 100 crore in the near future.
The Vermeiren Group is a leading manufacturer of manual and electronic wheelchairs, scooters, beds, etc.
During his meeting with representatives of the Vermeiren Group, led by the group’s managing director Syed Riyaz Khadri, the state industries minister assured that the government of Andhra Pradesh, under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, would extend all necessary support for the expansion of their operations in the state.
TG Bharath expressed confidence that Andhra Pradesh would make rapid strides in industrialization and employment generation over the next five years, aiming to transform brand AP into the top investment destination in the country.
