India is beaming with pride and joy following Team India’s historic T20 World Cup victory on June 29. As the cricket team returned with the trophy, they held a victory parade throughout Mumbai and ended at the renowned Wankhede Stadium. Bollywood celebrities Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana also turned to social media to welcome the team.

Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram stories to capture Team India’s exuberant celebrations at the Wankhede Stadium after their exciting T20 World Cup victory. In the video, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya are seen walking together while chanting the legendary lines to AR Rahman’s ‘Vande Mataram’. The video exudes patriotism, enthusiasm, and team spirit, allowing audiences to witness the squad’s joyous celebration. Vicky captioned the video, “Welcome Home, CHAMPIONS!” The Bad Newz actor also included an Indian flag and a red heart emoji.
Team India arrived in Delhi on Thursday morning via a special Air India jet organized by BCCI secretary Jay Shah. After meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, the team travelled to Mumbai for a huge victory parade.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal will be next seen in Bad Newz. Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari are the producers of the film. The film, based on heteropaternal superfecundation, will be released in theatres on July 19 and is produced by Amazon Prime in collaboration with Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective.
