In a argument between two groups after being hit by a chair while drinking in a bar, one of them fired one round bullet with a pistol on opposite group in which one person survived with a minor injuries.
Following incident, the Manpada police in Dombivli has detained five person including Ajay Singh who made firing.
The incident has took place on Tuesday late night at Seven star bar situated in Manpada area in Dombivli.
Police said on Tuesday night Ajay Singh with his four friends were drinking alcohal at same time Vikas Bhandari with his friends was seating on opposite direction.
A dispute started between Ajay Singh and Vikas Bhandari when the chair was hit by one of them while the party was in full swing.
During dispute Singh, in a fit of rage, fired one round with a pistol on Bhandari which hit Vikas on the shoulder.
Although Vikas survived in the attack, he was injured. The injured Bhandari has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
After the incident, Ajay Singh and his friends fled from the spot.
On getting information about the incident, Manpada police rushed to the spot and under the guidance of DCP Sachin Gunjal, ACP Sunil Kurade, the team of Senior Police Inspector Ashok Honmane started investigation. A team of Manpada police chased and arrested the five accused who escaped in just one hour.
A case has been registered against five people including Ajay Singh in Manpada police station and the police are conducting further investigation.
