Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated the Delhi BJP over the historic victory in Assembly polls and said that the party will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the all-round development of the city.
He said that the BJP government will ensure that Delhi plays a “prime role” in the building of a developed India.
“It is our guarantee that we will leave no stone unturned in developing Delhi, improving the overall quality of life for the people and ensuring that Delhi has a prime role to play in building a Viksit Bharat,” PM Modi posted on X.

PM Modi thanked the people of Delhi for resting their faith in the BJP and said that the government will work to enhance the lives of the residents of the city.
“I am immensely proud of all the @BJP4India workers who worked tirelessly to achieve this resounding mandate. Now, we will dedicate ourselves even more strongly to serving the people of Delhi,” he said.
Delhi Election Results 2025
The BJP stormed back to power in Delhi after over two decades (27 years), securing a massive win over the ruling Aam Aadmi Party.
Several top leaders of the party lost the elections, including Arvind Kejriwal (New Delhi seat), Manish Sisodia (Jangpura seat), Somnath Bharti (Malviya Nagar seat), Satyendar Jain (Shakur Basti seat) among others.
According to the Election Commission data, the BJP has so far won 15 seats and is set for victory on another 32 seats, while the AAP has won 11 seats so far and is leading on 12 others.
