Woman and two children, including infant, die after falling at Niagara falls

A tragic incident occurred at Niagara Falls when a 33-year-old woman and two children, ages 9 and 5 months, lost their lives after falling from the falls on Monday evening around 9 pm near Goat Island.
“The investigation has determined that this incident was intentional in nature, though the circumstances remain under investigation,” according to state police officials.
All three individuals were residents of Niagara Falls. The authorities have not disclosed the connection between the adult and the children involved in the incident.
Law enforcement officials reported that the woman and children crossed the protective barrier on Luna Island, which connects to Goat Island, before falling into the waters. State and park police attempted rescue operations at the scene.
Officials confirmed that there was no danger to other visitors, and the investigation continues into the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
