NEW DELHI: The central government on Friday appointed UP cadre officer Senthil Pandian C as India’s ambassador to the World Trade Organization.
He will replace Brajendra Navnit after his tenure ends by March-end and will continue to lead India’s negotiations until the multilateral body’s ministerial meeting scheduled for February-end.
The cabinet also appointed Vikas Sheel, currently additional secretary in the Jal Shakti as the India’s executive director, Asian Development Bank.
He has been appointed as executive director of ADB for a period of three years from the date of assumption of the charge.
Meanwhile, M Balaji was designated as the deputy chief of mission in the Indian Embassy in Brussels.
