IIMC Admission 2024: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) New Delhi, has released the admission notice for the academic year 2024-25, on its official website at iimc.nic.in.
Aspirants who are eager pursue Journalism from the IIMC, can check and take relevant steps in order to secure admission to their preferred IIMC.
The IIMC now has six campuses across the country, situated at New Delhi, Dhenkanal (Odisha), Aizwal (Mizoram), Amravati (Maharashtra), Kottayam (Kerala) and Jammu (Jammu & Kashmir).

According to the official notice, admission process for the academic session 2024-25 has initiated for IIMC courses, and the deadline for online applications is 24th January 2024. The application form and information bulletin can be accessed at cuet.nta.nic.in.
Prospective candidates must register before completing the application. In the CUET (PG) information booklet, IIMC’s courses fall under the ‘Common’ category with the question paper code COQP17. Regularly check the NTA/IIMC website for the latest updates. Admission to the courses will be conducted through a counseling process, with details available in the upcoming IIMC Prospectus.

Eligibility criteria for IIMC 2024 admission
Indian nationals interested in admission to IIMC New Delhi must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Additionally, students in their final year/semester of the Bachelor’s Degree are also eligible to apply. However, admission for such candidates is conditional upon producing a Provisional marks-sheet/Certificate from their college/university by 30th September 2024, with the possibility of extension in genuine cases. The award of the Diploma upon course completion is contingent upon the submission of the Original Degree Certificate for verification at IIMC’s office.
Age criteria for IIMC 2024 admission
For General Category candidates, the date of birth should be on or after 1.8.1999, making the maximum age limit 25 years as of 1 August 2024. OBC category candidates must be born on or after 1.8.1996, with a maximum age limit of 28 years as of 1st August 2024. SC/ST/PWD candidates are eligible if born on or after 1.8.1994, with a maximum age limit of 30 years as of 1st August 2024. These age limits provide a framework for the eligibility criteria for different categories of applicants.
