SONAMARG: Sonamarg, in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, experienced a new round of snowfall on Monday evening. The snowfall blanketed the roofs of tourist resorts and streets in the area.
In the meantime, Kishtwar district and its surrounding regions were hit by rainfall on Monday. The Srinagar Meteorological Centre had forecasted “light to moderate rain (light snow over higher reaches) with thunder at most places in Kashmir Division” on Monday evening.
The weather department anticipated rainfall in several locations across the Jammu division over the next 4-6 hours.
