N. Raghuraman Potty

N. Raghuraman Potty, who has been a familiar face in the art and culture circles of the capital city as a promoter of cultural events, passed away here on Wednesday. He was 79.
Known as ‘pass potty,’ the go to person for various events in the city for several years, he had retired from the administrative division of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC). He had served as the publicity secretary of SPARC, art society of the VSSC. He is survived by son, K.R. Girish, assistant manager, The Hindu, Thiruvananthapuram, daughter, Rathanavathi, (Provident Fund, Ernakulam) and daughter-in-law, A. Preethi.
